Parent Meeting for Juniors: Preparing for College
Allison Allen, guidance counselor for the Junior Class, will host a parent meeting on Tuesday, April 17th in the cafeteria beginning at 6:00 pm. The junior college parent meeting will have three different speakers. One speaker from GA College 411, one from financial aid office at the college level and an admissions counselor. The following topics will be discussed:
  1. Hope Scholarship
  2. Financial Aid Federal, State and Institutional Aid
  3. Helpful hints for finding scholarships
  4. College requirements for two year college
  5. College requirements for four year college
  6. Transferring from a two year college to a four year college
  7. Time set aside for questions

Senior Player Meeting

***UPCOMING SENIOR FOOTBALL PLAYERS AND PARENTS***
March 10th @ 9am please plan on attending a very important meeting. Coach would like to invite upcoming seniors & their parents to hear a presentation on the recruiting process. The meeting will be held in the cafeteria at the high school. Following the presentation, Coach and the Grid Iron officers will be meeting with everyone to go over information that you will need to know.

Freshmen, Sophmore and Junior Player Meeting

***UPCOMING FRESHMEN, SOPHOMORES AND JUNIORS***
March 10th @ 10am please plan on attending a meeting with Coach and the Grid Iron officers. This meeting will be held in the cafeteria at the school. Coach and the Grid Iron officers will be going over important information that you will need to know.
The meeting should last approximately until 11am.

General Bell thanks Heritage High School Generals and Wounded Warriors.
I've learned that Coach Tim James and the Heritage High School Football "Generals" open their season on August 26th at Jeff Sims Field in Ringgold. And in spite of all the destruction and trauma Ringgold and Catoosa County suffered as a result of the tragic tornado in April, Coach James and the Generals are working with Fort Benning, Georgia to sponsor a group of our Wounded Warriors...he (Coach James) hopes fifteen to thirty recently injured Wounded Warriors from the Wounded Warrior Transition Battalion at Fort Benning will attend the game and be recognized as the heroes they are. During halftime activities, Coach James will "pass the hat" in the stands to solicit any donation fans might want to make to the national Wounded Warrior Project.(read more)

Spring Practice begins May 10th

The Generals will begin spring practice after school on May 10th and conclude with the Annual Red and Navy game on the 21st. Kick off will be at 7:00 PM (See schedule for more details).
The staff is really excited about the potential for this years squad. 10 returning offensive starters and 8 defensive starters makes for a bright future for the Generals.
Heritage General signs with college April 1st

Friday, April 1st, Dylan Lowe will sign a scholarship with The Apprenticeship School which is located in Newport News VA. He will commit to attend school and play football for the Ship Builders next fall. The ceremony will take place in the Media Center at 2:15 PM. Dylan will become a part of Heritage High history by becoming the first ever football signee!!!

Heritage wins second consecutive football game in school history

The Heritage football team celebrated the dedication of Jeff Sims Field by winning its second consecutive game in school history on Friday, Sept. 2.
The Generals shutout Catoosa County rival Lakeview-Fort Oglethorpe, 28- 0, to earn bragging rights for the first time since the school's opening in 2008. The win came two years following a 64-0 thumping of the Warriors, and a 34-13 loss in 2009.(read more)

Generals kick off season with a win, preparing for LFO

For the first time in the football program’s short history the Heritage Generals' football team started a season with a win.
In Heritage’s third season-opener Friday the Generals took to the road and recorded their second win in school history by defeating North Murray 27-7.
